SHANGHAI STONE DIESEL ENGINE CO.,LTD WD415 series diesel engine, developed by HAEP on the basis of the WD615 diesel engines, is an innovation based on the original engine and has filled the blank of the 4 cylinder big power diesel engine of China. That the engine features particularly high performance, low vibration and EURO II emission level makes itself among the fewest top class green environment-friendly diesel engines that can be produced according to stipulations in China .In the respects of dynamic performance, fuel economy, emission performance and usability the engine is at the advanced level . The WD415 series diesel engine features good dynamic performance, fuel economy, low noise and good emission performance. This series diesel engine adopts advanced structure and design. Compact and good –looking profile, robust parts and components, good starting and dynamic performance , good reliability, good durability and high torque rise are all combined in one . The engine suits various kinds of application. The general arrangement and design feature of the WD415 series diesel engine keep consistent with those of the WD615 series diesel engine , namely the equal distance between cylinder-bore axes of 150 mm , separate cylinder head , unchanged valve arrangement . The cylinder head, piston connecting rod mechanism , valve train , gear train, lubrication , cooling system , gearbox , flywheel , flywheel housing etc . are made interchangeable with those of the WD615 engine as far as possible to the advantage of the organization of production of the products ,marketing and matching . Considering that the WD415 will reach the EURO II emission standard , the cylinder head , cylinder liner , combustion system and valve train are all same as those of the WD615 EURO II engines . In order to solve the problem of the secondary reciprocal inertia force pertaining particularly to 4 cylinder engines , a special balancing mechanism has been designed and is mounted on the bottom plane of the bedplate of the crankcase to make the whole mechanism locate in the oil sump .Thus the mechanism won’t affect the dimensions and the original structure of the engine and results in facilitating the arrangement of the complete vehicle .
