This Mirror features an embedded A Grade LCD monitor that captures the camera image in crystal clear viewing. The monitor automatically comes on once reverse in selected, with a OPTIONAL camera it will capture any blind spots in your path. The monitor also has an auto brightness control, so on bright sunny days the monitor will adjust to full brighness to eliminate sun glare when reversing. Dual video inputs is also available, this is great if you are fitting a front camera as well.

Auto Switching When Reverse:
1. Under power-on condition: When reverse gear is engaged, the system automatically switches from DVD/VCD video to
backup camera video, and when parking is completed, it switches back automatically.
2. Under power-off condition: When reverse gear is engaged, the system automatically starts on to find the camera signal and display backup video. When parking is completed, it switches off automatically.

The thickness of Germid's glass is 4MM while the general rearview mirror's glass is 1.8MM or 3MM. The total cost of 4mm mirror and processing is 4 times more than general glasses. And Germid's glass is absolutely secure and strong enough to pass car factory’s destruction test.
4. Bracket
The diameter of our bracket’s tube is far larger than general bracket. Its internal spring’s stiffness and restorability have reached standards of car factory.
5. Monitor
Our display screen is of original car’s standard. And it works at a standard temperature from -30c to +85c while normal screen is 0c to 60c or -20c to 70c. The purchasing cost of our screen is 27USD while ordinary screen is 4 to 7 USD. Germid’s screen is the same as that used in the car dashboard. Its working life is 10-20 years which is the same as car. Light inside the screen has passed AEC-Q101 certification. Working current is 50MA to 250MA while general screens’ is 20MA to 35MA.
6. Screen Automatic Brightness Adjustment
The brightness of general mirror span from 100 lux to 250 lux. At night, when the screen suddenly lights up, it will make the driver’s eyes blind. It takes 1-2 seconds for drivers to get used to the light and see views clearly displayed on the screen. After reversing is finished and the screen is turned off suddenly, the driver cannot see what’s happening forward. It takes 2-4 seconds for the driver’s eyes to adjust to the darkness. Glare in the front of car makes the driver cannot see clearly through rearview mirror, which is easy to cause accidents. Our mirror has precise brightness adjustment system. The screen can automatically adjust brightness in the daytime, twilight or evening. However, the driver cannot notice the differences. Because screen’s changing brightness is already integrated into the changing ambient light. In fact, the brightness is 20 times different from the daytime to at night. Therefore, you will have a comfortable experience when using our mirror.

2. Backup as alow as possible since high speeds might limit your reaction time to stop the vehicle.

4. Do not use the rear view camera system with the tailgate open.
