The idle speed control valve is installed in the air vent which is beside the throttle valve. Based on the ignition signals, the idle speed controller will start the idle speed control valve to improve the engine rotating speed when such speed is lower than 750RPM. The idle speed control valve will stop working when the engine rotating speed is over 1050RPM. Such valve is also called idle speed enhancing valve when they are used in those vehicles which are equipped with air-conditioning systems.Due to the operation of air conditioning compressor, it will result in engine load which will slow the engine idle speed. Along with that, the idle speed control valve will start to work to maintain the stability of idle speed.
