It is 120 kilometers away from Beijing in the west, 120 kilometers away from Tianjin in the southwest, 100 kilometers away from Qinhuangdao in the east, and 45 kilometers away from Caofeidian Harbor. The Beijing-Shenyang Expressway from east to west passes through this area and it has good facilities in highway, railway and waterway.
