GM has installed new GM LAN/CAN system. This applied system has one single-track CAN cable for vehicle body controlling, one middle speed CAN cable for information and fun, one high speed CAN cable for drive transmission (OBD II suitable module). One new diagnostic interface - Controller Area Network Diagnostic Interface (CANdi) has been developed to meet these needs. As an enhancing tool for Tech2, CANdi module perfects the requiring connection function for communicating with the future vehicle computer system.
