Using customer provided AutoCAD and Solidworks data, performance metal stampingsengineers designed the required progressive metal stampingsdies and assembly tooling needed to manufacture the high-volume automotive assembly order. The initial fastening process required spot welds to join the components, so performance metal stampingsintroduced an in-die mechanical joining system to both simplify assembly and reduce the overall cost per piece.
