Q1: Why we changed the tube diameter change from original 8mm to 7mm?

Purpose : After engineer testing ,The water can fulfill the tube inside for 7mm diameter tube ,If use 8mm tube , There will some space left and do not benefit for heat diffuser !

 

Q2: Why we changed the distance of the two fins from original 1.6mm to 1.35mm?

Purpose: Keeping the best heat diffuser and the appearance looks more expensive. Currently lots customers adopt this arts craft, Please kindly advice your decision!

Leakage tested

 

KVR’S radiators are pressure-impulse tested with minimum 60,000 impulses for car applications and 100,000 impulses for truck applications, the water/oil medium being under a pressure of 0.5 to 2.0 bar, and the temperature being 95degree

 

KVR’S Truck intercoolers with aluminum tanks are tested at 500,000 impulses, the water/oil medium being under a pressure of 0 to 2.0 bar and the temperature being 18 0degree

 

Lift tested

 

KVR’S radiators and intercoolers are tested in a real-life test by vibration (consisting of at least 2 million vibrations in a 22 hours cycle), and by thermal expansion (checking the resistance to wide fluctuations of temperature) by exposing the radiator to the impact of cold and heat, causing expansion and contraction: for car radiators/intercoolers with aluminum tanks in a 1000 cycle test-and for truck radiators/intercoolers with plastic tanks in a 1500 cycle test.

 

Radiators and intercoolers are also tested in thermal and pressure –loss tests, and in addition the intercooler is subjected to a bursting test carried out to check the durability at a pressure up to 6-8 bar.

 

Corrosion tested

 

To test the durability of KVR’s radiators and intercoolers in tough weather conditions e.g. high humidity levels, moisture and salt, all types are exposed to a corrosion test with a salt solution for the minimum of 400 hours, and with a pressure level between 0.8 and 1.2 bar.
