Air coolers, sometimes called air-to-air heat exchangers, are the best choice for cooling electrical enclosures and refrigerated cabinets containing objects that can not be easily cooled by direct contact to a cold plate. There may be irregularly shaped components, parts that need freedom to move, or objects that do not have any one good surface from which to remove heat. While not as efficient as the direct contact of a cold plate, air coolers are ideal in these cases because the cooled air adapts to any and all shapes within the cabinet. Air coolers also provide one location - the cold sink - where condensation forms. This usually keeps condensation from forming on the objects being cooled.
Air coolers made primarily for cooling outdoor electronics cabinets feature terminal blocks on the cold sink (internal fins), a sealed external fan, anodized heat sink, and corrosion protection on the cold sink.

Features:This cooler is powered by 24 VDC, has a NEMA 12 rating, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. It uses two thermoelectric modules and our proprietary high-density extruded heat sinks to yield a good combination of performance and low cost. The low power consumption makes this cooler compatible with all of our temperature controllers. Like all of our coolers, it can be easily customized to meet your production requirements: special wiring configurations, smaller heat sinks, different operating voltages, lower power consumption, etcetera.
