Some of spring energized seal can be used in static seal,the 103 series is generally recommended for this service,can satisfy most static seal condition.the m in slow dynamic ost common application is used reciprocating seal,for more severe dynamic seal,also  face seal applications such as joints.recommend you used 103 series products,The higher spring load provides positive sealing with some increase in seal friction.Particularly suitable for medium to high\middle pressure service,for middle\low pressure working conditions,recommend you use 400 and APS series products.
