Basic Design:
The thrust ball bearing consists of the shaft washer, the housing washer and the ball and cage thrust assembly. The balls are guided by the cage, and the balls and the cage form the assembly.
The bearings have the separable design so that mounting is simple as the washers and the ball and cage assembly can be mounted separately. It is designed to take high axial loads.

• Available in two designs: single direction and double direction.
• Single direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads in one direction and thus locate a shaft axially in one direction. Double direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads acting in both directions and can thus serve to axially locate a shaft in both directions. Both of them must not be subjected to radial load.
