  Inconel Rodoffers enormous resistance to heat, oxidation and corrosion at the elevated temperatures. It also resists aqueous corrosion and possesses significant mechanical potential. Moreover it can be conveniently formed and weldable.

Features of Inconel Rod:

1. 
   Superior resistance to sodium hydroxide solutions, chloride stress corrosion cracking.
2. As with austenitic stainless steels Inconel 601 can be sensitized to intergranular corrosion in some aggressive media after heating in the temperatures range 540ºC - 760ºC.
