We are a member owned industry association for the retread tire and tire repairing industries. Our mission is to educate the motoring public about the economic and environmental benefits of top quality retreads and proper tire repairing. We also promote the use of retreads and defend the retread industry against unwarranted attacks by the media.

In addition, the Retread Tire Association maintains a Casing and Supplier Memo program for our members and others who wish to buy or sell casings, used tires/tyres and new or used retreading equipment and machinery. There is no charge for this important service.

I am the Managing Director of the Retread Tire Association and was the Managing Director of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau for nearly 30 years.
