3-The generator comprises an organic amine, an oxidizing agent containing at least 50 wt.% of a nitrate salt and a silicone resin preferably in respective amounts of 20-50 wt.%, 40-70 wt.% and 2-20 wt.% in the form of granules or a shaped article with the silicone resin acting as a binder.
