They could be used for fresh air damper , air supply system or heater system, and also used for engine cooling system. There are several types of actuator mainly, Intake Actuator ---- two wires, it open the damper to some an angle and close by changing the poiarity of wiring. Switch Actuator ---- three wires, it turn on/off the damper by putting throught/cutting off the control wire. Temp Actuator ---- five wires, the actuator operates by switching the poiarity of witing, it could also give a feedback of the postion to the HVAC system. Mode Actuator---- seven wires, it could control the damper to stop on different positions. Voltage control actuator ---- it's driven by 0~10 V voltage signal.
