The power range of MAN21/31 diesel engine is 1000-1980 kw, the unit power range is 950-1881kw. Based on L16/24 diesel engine the same innovative, streamlined design, L21/31 diesel engine is small size, light weight, modular structure and streamlined without pipe, less components, low maintenance requirements, high power, low noise, can meet the current and future IMO organization requirements on NOx emission.
Independent cylinder unit-- Include cylinder head, piston, cylinder liner, railings etc, can be hoisted out whole, easy to replace and maintain, reduce maintenance time
Compact structure-- Adopts double CAM shaft structure, has good flexibility. Allow to choose between the fuel consumption and low emissions in a larger scope.
Low bearing wear rate -- Link mechanism is designed for marine, adopting the design to reduce surface bearing pressure, both reduced the bearing wear, and extend the service life of the bearing.
