Production Description:
This New MB Star C3 can be used with any laptop without removing your laptop's local hard drive or without the need to have a built- In serial port in your laptop which is almost obsolete in newer laptops. We have developed PCMCIA based serial port interface which works on all the laptops as the card bus is still a common and valid bus configuration for all the OEM laptops independent of the brand. The software is on a USB external hard drive which connects to your laptop through one of your laptop's USB ports thus eliminating the need to remove and replace your laptop's local hard drive with the hard drive provided with the SDS tool. Whenever you are ready to use this diagnostic tool on any vehicle, You connect the external USB hard drive to your OEM laptop via a USB cable, Connect PCMCIA - R232 serial adapter with the laptop PCMCIA port and to the vehicle/ Tool. You are then ready to run the software and diagnose the problems in your vehicle.
