Production Description:
Pneumatic Out-Swing Bus Door Mechanism consists of:
1. Arm asm(including arms, door pillar asm, upr-bracket, tie rod, angular connective irons, door/frame wedges etc.)
2. Pneumatic door mechansim and relevant control units(e.g. emergency valve, solenoid valve, switch)

Max. lift height20mm(at swing angle 140°)
Load capacity No less than 1000N(at min. load door weight)
The cylinder asm consists of two parts- the lower part is a cylinder with cushioning; the upper part is a set of screwing mechanism.
The lower part:in the cylinder the up&down movement of piston realizes close&open operations of door, using the air pressure to drive the screw shaft to lift and drop through the piston movement.
The upper part has three components:
Support:it funcions as 1.the connector between the upper screw mechanism and lower cylinder;2.guiding to the screw shaft working with the spline;3.the bracket of the outer sleeve;4.the primary bearing of the total door weight(thus should be strong enough).
Screw shaft(drive shaft):the priciple part to convert up&down movement to rotating action.
Sleeve asm:rotates along the screw grooves on the screw shaft, driving the arms to swing together.
The upper of the screw shaft is a triangular screw groove(stroke 200mm); the lower is a hex outer spline, working with the inner hex spline in the support, that limits the screw shaft to move under the action of the piston. The inner screw that matches the outer screw of the screw shaft is a floating part, like a nut on a bolt but not fixed in position(rotates under the the up&down movement of screw shaft).
Maintenance
l Change the piston:
l Open the cover of the door mechansim with a screwdriver, take down the switch bracket, and screw off the four socket head screws- M8×25 with a socket spanner. Push the cylinder downward to separate it from the support. Engage the slot on the top of the piston-rod and turn it anti-clockwise with a wrench- open 17mm to take down the cylinder asm.
l Screw off the four screws- M8×92 on the tie-rod with a socket spanner and remove the upper&lower cylinder covers to take out the piston-rod asm.
l Clamp the piston-rod, screw off screws-M10 with socket spanner, and draw out the piston.
l Check the new piston, which should have smooth surface.
l Fix the new piston on the piston-rod, coating the circumference of piston with some grease. Insert the piston-rod into the cylinder cartridge. Load the upr&lwr cylinder covers and tension the piston-rod with the tie rod.
l Install the cylinder asm, switch bracket asm from up to down, and adjust the door mechansim;
l Adjust the anti-clamp switch and lamp;
l Adjust the operational speed of door opening/closing;
l Adjust the impact force at door bump;
Mount the cover when everything is ok.
