A hub bearing, also known as a wheel hub bearing, enables the wheels and attached components to rotate smoothly and keeps the wheel attached to the car. The bearings are mounted on a wheel hub, which is located between the brake drums and the axle. Wheel bearings wear out over time due to age and contamination. As they wear out, excess play also develops in the bearing. The main signs of a damaged wheel hub bearing are abnormal noises and loose steering. C.Clearance adjustment is not necessary during the installation.
As the design of the bearing has an appropriate clearances setting therefore the clearances adjustment is not necessary, but clearances is essential to be adjusted when installing a single row angular contact ball bearing. Once the bearing has been mounted, just follow the regulation to tight up the screw.
D.No need to fill in lubricative grease during installation.
An appropriate amount of lubricative grease has been filled into the bearing. The bearing is waterproof and it has a thermal resistance of 150 °C.
