Angular contact ball bearings are used for combination radial and axial loading,they have raceways in the inner and outer rings that are displaced with respect to each other in the direction of the bearing axis.There are three types of angular contact ball bearings,single-row angular contact ball bearings ,double-row angular contact ball bearings,four-point contact ball bearings.

Single-row angular contact ball bearings can carry axial load acting in one direction only, but have high thrust capacity . Some single-row bearings are specifically designed for duplex mounting in sets for maximum performance.In many applications, angular contact ball bearings in pairs or muti-arrangement should be used. The axial load carrying capacity of angular contact ball bearings increase with the increase of contact angle. Double-row Conrad bearings can accommodate thrust in both directions.

Single-row angular contact ball bearings are used in the spindle , high frequency motor, gas turbine, centrifuge, front wheels of small cars,etc. Double-row angular contact ball bearings are used in oil pump rootscompressor, air compressor , transmission, fuel injection pump, Printing Machinery,etc.Following are the three types of angular contact ball bearings:
