SPHERICAL ROLLER THRUST BEARINGS

Spherical roller thrust bearings; rollers of these bearings are in a shape of spherical profile, and because

the raceway of seat washer are also in spherical profile, so these kinds of bearings are also have a ability of self-aligning. Spherical roller bearings can carry an extremely large axial load, when carrying axial load, it can also carry a radial load of not more than 55% of the axial load. It is insensitive to the misalignment of seat washer relative to shaft washer due to the bending of shaft. These bearings are primarily used in hydraulic generators, vertical motors, shaft of screw propeller of vessels, tower cranes, plastic inject-press-shape machinery, etc.
