When the float move up and down, it sends the signal to the gauge for the gauge to show the fuel level.International standard SAE 5 holes, SAE 6 holes, BSP 1-1/4 thread, NPT 1-1/2  thread assembly styles.
It's suitable for trucks, buses, and widely adopted by Foton, CAMC,
    JAC, DFG etc.
It has many functions, such as liquid level detecting, fuel filter,
    heating, fuel suction, fuel return, temperature alarm, balancing the
   atmosphere of both inside and outside the fuel tank, and explosion-    
   proof, which efficiently increased the fuel tanks comprehensiveness
   and decreased the cost of fuel tank system. It also decreased the
   potential failures such as fuel leaking, tank shape deforming, and
   explosions caused by accidents, etc.
The sensor has electromagnetic theory which made the structure
   simpler and steadier. The float is the only movable part of the sensor
   which prevents one of the defect of the traditional arm sensorshort
   age.
