The torque sensors are used in the automotive EPS system. When the steering system is working, the input axle and the output axle rotate. Then torque of the axle makes the slider move in the axle direction. The control arm of the sensor turns the movement of the slider into rotating angle and output relative voltage signal to let the control unit judge the rotating direction of the steering wheel and the steering angle.
