The reverse parking sensor is an ancillary piece of equipment, that helps the driver to reverse a car safety.The sensor is activated as soon as the reverse gear has been selected. Once the vehicle is within a distance 1.5meters or less of an obstacle an audio sound of intermittent beeping will be heard, at the same time the digital display will show accurately how far the vehicle is from an obstacle. As the vehicle moves closer to the obstacle the tempo of the beeping will become quicker. When the beeping changes to a continuous tone the vehicle must not reverse any further. Also the actual distance the vehicle is away from the obstacle will be shown on the digital display.
