1. Roller

2. Installation of Ring Die
The installation errors of ring die may result in the unbalanced excessive wear and uneven pelletizing, even the motion of ring die, which can reduce the production capacity.
3. Position of Cutting Knives
If the cutting knives are too close to the ring die, there will be much powder in the final pellets to influence the capacity. Therefore, they need to be adjusted during the pelletizing.
4. Position of Blade
The improper installation of blade makes the materials come out of the ring die, which results in the low capacity and high powder content. The upper edge of the blade and die cover should have a distance of 3-4 cm.
5. Diameter Ratio between Roller and Die
Assuming that the die has a certain diameter, the larger diameter of the roller makes the materials enter into the pressing section with smaller angel. So it becomes more difficult to squeeze the materials out, which is conductive to increase the output of the pellet mill. Generally, the diameter ratio between roller and die should be larger than 0.4.
6. Ratio between Diameter and Length of the Die
Within a given range, the larger ratio conduces to higher output, while we should choose the proper ratio. Too large thickness causes low output and high hardness, while too small thickness results in low hardness, which can not meets the requirements of quality.
7. Clearance between Roller and Die
The clearance between the roller and ring die determines the output and quality directly. It is requisite to adjust the gap between the die and roller to an appropriate range, which is essential to get the good pellets. Let the ring die run clockwise, and then adjust the roller counterclockwise. In general, the gap from 0.05mm to 0.3mm is better, and for new die and roller, the clearance is larger than that of the old ones.
