32/40 series diesel engine is one of the largest power type medium speed machine of MAN currently. The power per cylinder is 500Kw, not only can be used as a Marine main and auxiliary machinery, but also get a lot of use in stationary power plants, well received by users.
Heavy oil run continuously-- MAN32/40 diesel engine can use 50 ° C700m / s (cSt) of heavy oil. All parts of this machine designed by using heavy oil, under various load conditions, can achieve low fuel consumption, less emissions and low wear rate.
Double cooling water system-- 32/40 series diesel engine adopts high and low temperature double cooling water system. Low temperature cooling water system controls intercooler, lubricating oil cooler and motor (water-cooled motor), high temperature of cooling water system controls the temperature of the cylinder and the cylinder head.
Stable pressurization system The pressurization system of diesel engine consists of exhaust manifold, supercharger, inter-cooled and scavenge box
