High Intensity Discharge Lamp System ( HID ) is a new type of lighting technology that is different from the conventional halogen bulbs that use a heated tungsten filament. The HID xenon Lamp produces light by an electrical discharge between two electrodes. Xenon gas and metal halide salts are putted into the light emitting tube installed inside the HID Lamp. The electrons inside emitting tube collide with the metal atoms, using 23,000V high voltage to produce light. The voltage between the two electrodes rises firstly from 12V to 23000V and keeps stable at 85V by using the Xenon HID stabilizer system. HID xenon lamps produces more light with less power and last longer than halogen headlamps. On the road, HID Xenon lighting systems appear as a bright white beam which resembles natural daylight and does not cause any stress or harm to the eyes. Visibility at night has been dramatically improved allowing drivers to see farther ahead and with significantly greater clarity. This reduces bodily fatigue and allows the driver to see the road surface clearly even in an inclement weather, contributing to greater driving safety.
