Part number for these nozzles are DSLA 158 P 974+ which are a larger size orifice over the standard 974 nozzle. These nozzles are intended to be used as a standard replacement nozzle but can also be modified by methods such as Extrude Hone or EDM to make them into a high performance nozzle. Once your stock injectors and nozzles begin showing signs of wear you can start to experience symptoms such as poor fuel economy, loss in power, excessive smoke, hard starts and rough idleing. If your original nozzles are tested and proven to be bad then installing new nozzles will bring your truck back up to normal operating specs.
