Floating nuts offer strong female thread in sheet as thin as .030" / 0.8mm with thread #4 to 1/4# and M3 to M6.

Just as all other self clinching fasteners, floating nuts are fixed into sheet, can offer excellent torque out and push out resistance. Floating nuts have function of floating action to compensate for mating hole misalignment. Floating nuts offer locking thread and non-locking threads.

Floating nuts are made with material of carton steel and 300 series stainless steel. We also can do with floating nuts with material of 400 series stainless steel for more hardened sheet
