Manufactured from high quality chromium nickel austenitic stainless steel, FIXRITE Thread Repair inserts provide high performance internal threads that resist the effects of temperature and corrosion. Their simple but unique design ensures superior threads whose compound performance cannot be reproduced by any other single fastening method. Material FIXRITE Thread Repair Inserts are made of helically coiled (304)321 Stainless Steel and Inconel x-750 wire with a precise diamond shaped cross section to accommodate internal and external threads simultaneously. When assembled in a tapped hole the insert presents a permanent internal thread which conforms to standard specifications.
