1. Model marking and polar braid

The types of SMD diodes are marked with letters, numeric codes or letters + numeric codes and color (code) identification methods. 2. Good or bad measurement

3. Online braid

On the circuit board, the component number of the chip diode generally starts with the letter D, such as D1, D2, etc., or VD, such as VD1, VD2, etc.; or DD, such as DD1, DD2, etc. To distinguish between chip resistors or capacitors with similar shapes, you can use a multimeter to measure them. If their forward and reverse resistance values are different, you can determine that the component is a chip diode.
