The shoe dimensions on  12 inch hydraulic drum brakes are 12 x 2 and mount to the trailer's 5 hole standard brake flange for both 6 lug and 8 lug brake drum hubs. All 6000 lbs axle trailer brakes work with 6 lug 12 brake drum hubs. These free backing hydraulic brakes are ideal for use on a boat or snowmobile trailer. Full range of serviceable backing plate spare parts are available for 12" hydraulic free backing brakes. There are various types of back plates such as silver spray, dacromet and galvanized available for customers selection.
