The Roots vacuum pump is also called mechanical booster. It is the main pumping equipment in the middle or high vacuum. Its working principle is similar to the Roots fun by two rotors whose shape is like "8" and move synchronously to achieve the suction and discharge.
According to the technics for pumping amount of steam in the chemical, pharmacy and so on, we improved the sealing structure of the pump cavity and bearing housing so as to reduce the oil emulsification in the bearing housing or gear box efficiently. So the ZJ series Roots vacuum pumps are more suitable to pump amount of steam or solvent.

To prevent the oil steam to pollute the vacuum system for without any oil in the pump cavity.

To pump the coagulated gases. 
They cannot be used separately and should be connected with a fore pump. The Roots pump are not allowed to start under the atmosphere until the inlet pressure of the fore pump reaches the vacuum approved by the Roots vacuum pump. The fore pump is water ring vacuum pump, oil ring vacuum pump or oil sealing mechanical pump.
For pumping the amount of steam or solvent, the Roots vacuum pump structure is improved in order to avoid oil emulsification in the gear housing.
