The  hand control valvel is  used to control the secondary and parking in tractors with trailer connection . The vaval comprises an indirectly an directly acting operation. the-indirectly acting portion of the valve serves to control the brake pressure in the secondary and parking brake of both the tractor and by means of a trailer control valve ,in the trailer the direcly acting portion of the valve has an inccorporated checking function .enabling the performanceof the parking brake of the tractor to b4e chesked with the trailer brake realsed .Depdending on their volume ,the spring brake actuators are controled either directly from the hand control valve  or through a relay valve.
