Fitting Honda vehicles, OX 80 L compressors belong to scroll compressors, and have the following advantages:
1.        Scroll compressors have no air suction and discharge valves. This improves reliability of high-speed running.
2.        Since air pressure difference between adjacent compression chambers is small, scroll compressors have a small quantity of gas leakage and high volumetric efficiency. Thus, the efficiency of scroll compressors is higher than compressors of the second generation, rotary compressors.
3.        Since there is a small stress change of moving parts such as orbiting scrolls and main shafts, vibration of scroll compressors is small.
4.        Scroll compressors have low noises.
5.        Since scroll compressors are sealed reliably and effectively, the refrigeration coefficient reduces more slowly.
6.        Scroll compressors have good working performance. Especially in heat-pump air conditioning system, scroll compressors have good heating performance, stability and safety.
